Hautelook: Lorac Haul

After 3 impatient weeks I finally got my Lorac shadows from Hautelook (yaay). I got each of these shadows form 1.29 each retail price 17-19.99 each. My total for all 5 of them plus shipping was 11.29.

The first color (burgundy looking) is Garnet and the green is Lush.  I swatched them below.

The other colors in order in the pic are satin shadows and they are Insider (blueish one), Drama (grey), and Posh. All swatched below.

All are very pigmented and stay on all day with or without lid primer. Very happy with my purchases.

Revlon: Smells Real Pretty

Went into CVS yesterday and stopped by the Revlon counter and saw they were having a sale on their quick dry polish and their scented polish. I'm not a huge fan of Revlon's nail polish it sometimes goes on lumpy and not smooth like OPI so I rarely use them. At any rate I got one because I have never tried scented polish. I got the Bubble Gum (pink)#360. The polish does indeed smell like bubble gum after it dries which is kinda cool the scent has lasted all day. After your shower its pretty much gone though. Still was a pretty pink color.

Loco for Coconut

To all my readers who suffer from dry skin, I have found relief in an unexpected place-coconut oil. Now I am not new to coconut oil as I use this for my hand made lip balms and lip scrubs but I never thought to use it on my skin. One day while I was in Whole Foods looking for a few other oils one of the employees started telling me about the different oils you can use on your skin and Coconut Oil was top on her list. After hearing this I decided to go home and try it. Let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. Now to give you a little background I have suffered with eczema since childhood and that condition causes my skin to be dry and literally suck up moisture. With that said I am on an ongoing search for the best moisturizer. Enter...The Coconut Oil...

I kid you not, I have to apply this only once after bath or shower and 24 hours later skin is still soft. If you suffer from dry skin this may be your product. The great news is that it's good for skin care, hair care and cooking! Love this stuff. I bought mine from Whole Foods but you can purchase Natures Way brand online for a little bit cheaper (wish I would have known that) but it was worth every penny.

Hard Candy Mini-Haul

Hey sugarplums! I took a trip to Wally World a few days ago and as always I stopped in the beauty section. I do this even if I don't need anything, mainly to check for anything new. Low and behold I see the entire area has been revamped more shelves are being added (making room for more products yay!). Anywho, a new display is up with Hard Candy products. I have seen a few people use their products on videos so I decided to pick up a few things.

1000 Lashes Mascara in Midnight Black-comes in a cute little tube :)

Nobody's Perfect Concealer Palette (I have been dying to try it)

Kal-eye-descope Baked Eyeshadow in Make Believe-beautiful metallic blues

Glossaholic Lipgloss in Lush

I will post a look using these products soon! Have you tried any of these or other Hard Candy items? Leave a comment let me know how they worked for you :)
